Since opening at the start of 2008, Alloa has gone from strength to strength. Located on the High Street right in the centre of the town’s shopping area, the store has been delighting locals, shoppers, neighbouring businesses and students with their amazing cakes, great coffee and exceptional customer service. As one of the biggest stores it’s certainly stunning to look at, with the first of our specially designated children’s areas and plenty of big, comfortable seats for lounging around in.

The Old Brewery.JPG

What more fitting a place to find a pub than in a genuine old brewery? This one used to be Maclays Thistle Brewery and dates back to the 19th century. It’s a history reflected in the displays of old bottles behind the bar and in wall cabinets, as well as in architectural features such as the high sloping ceiling. Along with the mezzanine level, it makes for a pub full of character, popular with a mixed crowd of students, workers, families, football fans and older regulars – pretty much anyone who enjoys a friendly welcome and a Belhaven Best.
